Questionnaire Results


From this data you can tell:
- that more people watch music video than people that don't.
- technologies invented for music consumption (like iTunes) have less of an effect on the market compared to the traditional 'word of mouth' influences of friends, radio and TV etc.
- Alternative Rock is the most popular genre in this sample - especially amongst boys; therefore our product should be aimed at a more male, 'independent' (of the mainstream) audience.
- with the introduction of social media like YouTube and Facebook music has been made more accessible, which is shown by the Wordle clouds. Audiences tastes have become refined, and specific as they can search online and listen to the music they want to rather than what the radio plays and what the music channels screen.
